01 The story, in three paragraphs

Why everyone keeps coming back.

Nestled in the heart of Taman Saujana, Masai, Warung Abadi is a must-visit restaurant that effortlessly captures the beloved kampong-style dining experience with its authentic Malaysian flavors and warm, inviting atmosphere. This humble eatery specializes in traditional Malaysian cuisine that feels both comforting and soul-satisfying, making every meal here an absolute delight.

The menu boasts standout dishes that consistently win the hearts of local diners. The grilled chicken, for instance, is a symphony of smoky char and tender juiciness, perfect for those craving a robust, savory bite. Meanwhile, the mee goreng daging bursts with layers of spices and textures in every forkful, combining stir-fried noodles with succulent beef in a harmony that is rich yet balanced. However, true star of the show is their satay – generously portioned, juicy beef chunks marinated to perfection, grilling to a fragrant glaze that elevates each skewer with a charred, smokey depth. As one reviewer aptly put it, the satay here outshines many others for its size and flavor intensity without breaking the bank.

Warung Abadi is also celebrated for its variety of affordable and delectable options, such as the vibrant and flavourful tomyam, which is truly “meriah” with its rich, spicy broth that tingles the taste buds, and the kerabu maggi — a creative twist featuring crab, making for a refreshing yet indulgent salad that’s both unique and satisfying. The generous portion sizes ensure that every meal leaves you satiated and eager for your next visit.

Beyond food, the setting adds to the charm—clean surroundings coupled with swift, friendly service create a welcoming environment that immediately feels like a home away from home. Ample parking and hassle-free takeaway make it easy to enjoy their delicious offerings whether dining in or on the go.

For locals and visitors alike who crave authentic Malaysian kampong flavors with generous portions and wallet-friendly prices (ranging roughly from RM 8 to RM 15), Warung Abadi stands out as a culinary gem. Its honest, hearty food and approachable ambience make it not just a meal stop but a genuine taste of Malaysian tradition you’ll want to return to time and again.

For reservations or takeaway orders, you can reach Warung Abadi at +60 13-737 9772. Whether you are a first-time visitor or a regular, prepare to be impressed by food that’s not only flavorful but made with a comforting kampong spirit.

Nice food with reasonable price. The highlight for me is the satay there very juicy, flavourful and quite big chunk of beef used compared to other places that have small cut beef with higher price. Totally recommended this place.
